Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of VoxDrot's website, license service, and cloud services, operated by Kazkai IT AB ("we," "us"). Use of the desktop application itself is governed by the EULA.

1. Purchases

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) are calculated at checkout. The lifetime license is a one-time payment — there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

2. License keys

Your license key is your proof of purchase and your access to cloud services. Keep it safe like a password: anyone who has it can activate devices and spend your cloud hours. If a key leaks, contact us — we can rotate it against your order number.

3. Cloud services

• Cloud transcription is metered in seconds of actual audio processed. Purchased hours never expire.
• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; the local engine works regardless of our uptime.
• We may throttle or suspend usage that indicates abuse, automation at scale, or violation of a provider's acceptable-use terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use our cloud services to process audio you have no right to process, or for unlawful surveillance or interception. You are responsible for complying with recording-consent laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Refunds

See the Refund Policy — full refund within 30 days, no questions asked.

6. Changes to the service

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be dated above and noted in release notes. Continued use of the cloud services after a change constitutes acceptance; your perpetual desktop license is unaffected.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
